THE HISTORY

Everything changed for Albert Fouquet one winter night in 1936 in Megève. Fouquet had traveled to this emerging ski resort, a meeting place for European aristocracy, to attend a dinner organized by his friend Nicolás. Albert was the perfect French gentleman, passionate about travel and with a fascinating hobby: creating perfumes for his personal use. These perfumes became highly sought after among his social circle and the perfect gift that Albert would exceptionally use to surprise his aristocratic friends on the most special occasions.

But that magical night in Megève, someone gave a twist to Fouquet’s life: Annicke, a young Austrian woman, the daughter of a banker and Hungarian noblewoman. Her extraordinary beauty, innate elegance and captivating personality made Albert’s heart skip a beat and change its rhythm, following the cadence of the music, dancing to the tune of the most special woman he had ever met.

The conversation, the dance, and the warmth of the fireplace on that winter night were forever etched in Fouquet’s mind and heart, along with the unforgettable image of Annicke. Without a doubt, that night, he had met the most interesting woman any man could ever dream of.

That magical night led to their successive meetings in Vienna, the young woman’s hometown. For their first meeting, Albert had prepared a unique and exquisite creation, capturing everything Annicke evoked in him: "Pure Vienne". The perfume became a symbol of their love and the beauty they discovered together in the most secret corners of Vienna.
